"Absolutely thrilled with our wedding photographs, Rupert captured our special day perfectly and was very friendly, professional and discreet - exactly how we had hoped. Couldn't have asked for a better photographer and can't recommend him enough!"Rachael & Mark Ruthers
Photographing a wedding is a blast; fast moving and full of energy and emotion. My creativity loves getting caught up in that whirlwind.
You can tell from my work that I shoot in a very natural, relaxed, photojournalist style – most of the time you won’t even notice I’m there. Which is as it should be if I am to capture the candid shots, the real stuff. Traditional posing is fine but I do my best work when I’m free to roam!
The photographs I’ve taken at weddings of yore have been recognised by the ‘Wedding Photojournalist Association’ (WP|A). An exclusive and elite group of wedding photographers who strive to achieve and maintain an exceptionally high standard of business practice, both in the nature of the photography they present and the quality of service they provide.
If you like what you see, the best thing to do is to get in touch so we can have a no obligation chat. Just to see if there’s a vibe there; it’s so important that you click with your photographer.
When I am your ‘tog’ you’ll get all the individually edited and graded shots on your own private online gallery, full and half size files stored on a very cool USB stick presented in a rather special box and 20 complimentary prints of your choosing. Oh, and I don’t make you wait 2 months for your pictures; my normal turnaround is about 14 days. If you are off on a fortnight honeymoon I’ll have all your shots ready by the time you get home. I can also organise beautiful wedding albums starting at £195 (but this takes a while longer.)
Also as an extra… I do offer the option of shooting on 35mm monochrome film. It’s old school but the results are pretty special.
My pricing is very simple: £1200 for an 8 hour day.
